⛺️ CAMP: Deepwater Dreaming. Self contained only.

- WHERE: 30minute 30km 4wd track South of Agnes Water & 1770. Or a 70km 40 minute sealed road to town.

🚎 ACCESS: Off the Tableland HWY, access via dirt road. Enter via Baffle Creek. If you’re coming from the North side, WikiCamps might take you via Deepwater National Park - this is a 4wd track only and not suited for caravans - camper trailers would be ok. It’s a narrow, sandy, bumpy track.

💰 COST: $10 per night - per van/vehicle. $50 per week.

- FACILITIES: dump point at camp - environmentally friendly solutions ONLY! It’s a septic so keep it clean.

- SIZE: big area, loads of room, 10 vans maximum at the moment as it only opened late Mid August 2018. You certainly won’t be crammed in.

- CLOSE BY:

🌊 Deepwater National Park - a 4wd road will take you through to Wreck rock, middle rock and flat rock. Stunning place to go for a swim and catch a fish - but of course, no dogs allowed in the National Park.

🌴 30-40 minute drive to Agnes Water & 1770 via the National Park. Here you’ll be able to check out the amazing views from Joseph Banks conservation park - a must see! There’s the Captain cook Monument on your way up to the lookout. There’s a couple of supermarkets if you’re running low on supplies, loads of cafes, a decent pub, fish n’ chips at Agnes Water is a must do too! You can hire a kayak or go fishing or take Larc sunset tour. If you have a boat, you’re set for this destination!

🚣 There are loads of places to take your boat out and I’m sure you won’t go hungry.

🐕 Agnes Water also has a great dog beach at the old SLSC. There are lots of beaches to explore.

🏖 If your travel south from camp, you’ll find Rules beach - a protected turtle nesting beach so you can only access it in the off season - April - October is ok. This place is perfect to set yourself up for the day to go fishing, let the dog run wild, enjoy the sun and a picnic lunch. It’s a quiet beach so you can almost count on having it to yourself for the day.

🏖 Workman’s beach is dog friendly also, great for a swim and a fresh oyster off the rocks at low tide!!

🌅 Close to camp there’s a weir, you might be lucky enough to see a water monitor here so keep an eye out! There’s access to the beach from camp if you don’t mind walking through sand dunes or you can take a walk through the Forrest to get there.

🦀 There is also a river close by, if you have a crab net you might just get yourself some dinner!

WILDLIFE - if you’re lucky you will see echidnas, kookaburra, Water monitors, kangaroos early in the morning and late afternoon, lots of birds including the red &  black cockatoo, dolphins at the beach. If you’re unlucky, you might see some yellow belly black snakes or an eastern brown, or a wolf spider hiding in its trap! 🐍🕷

This place is really a bush camp on private property so respect the owners, the local wildlife and enjoy your stay!!

Happy travels ✌️
